Samak was a childhood buddy of Iranian soccer midfielder Saeed Ezatolahi, who performs on the nationwide staff. On Instagram, Ezatolahi on Wednesday posted a tribute to his buddy mourning his dying and hinting on the tumult in Iran.
“Positively after one other bitter night time final night time and with the information of your dying, my coronary heart is much more on fireplace,” Ezatolahi wrote alongside a photograph of him, Samak, and their youth soccer staff.
“This isn’t what our youth deserve. This isn’t what my Iran deserves,” he went on. “Ensure that some day when the masks fall and the reality seems, they’re going to pay for your loved ones’s mournful hearts and your mom’s grief.”
